We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrub Nurse Practitioner to join our surgical team at a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons during procedures, ensure the operating room is prepared, and maintain a sterile environment throughout. This role is vital to providing high-quality surgical care and ensuring patient safety during operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery and communicate concerns to the surgical team. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow during procedures. Perform post-operative tasks, such as cleaning the operating room and restocking supplies. Provide patient education on post-operative care and recovery.

Required Skills

Current registration with a recognized nursing board. Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail and precision. A postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing is preferred.
