Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery and communicate concerns to the surgical team. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow during procedures. Perform post-operative tasks, such as cleaning the operating room and restocking supplies. Provide patient education on post-operative care and recovery.Required Skills
Current registration with a recognized nursing board. Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail and precision.
